Wedding ceremony on east portico reception following

The east portico of the Pasfield House is an elegant site for a wedding. A June/July outdoor ceremony in our English Garden is magical. Guests are seated in the traditional bride and groom division with an aisle separating the two. This format allows for that more traditional walk down the aisle.

The Best Man and Maid of Honor together with the wedding party can be stair-stepped down from the portico where the couple exchange vows before their family and friends. Chamber music makes the wedding ceremony even more elegant.

After the ceremony, guests can enter the Pasfield House through the French portico doors and be greeted by the newly wedded couple to begin the wedding reception. This wedding format style allows for one of the larger Pasfield House wedding gatherings. We like to limit are largest wedding receptions to no more than 100 total guests, which allows us to offer exemplary service for that special occasion. A sit-down wedding dinner following the ceremony limits the guest count to 50 or less. Details are what set the Pasfield House apart; we emphasize quality and never forgo it for quantity.

Inside and out, our House and grounds reflect history, preserved in a private club-like atmosphere. At the Pasfield House guests feel as if it was their private home. No interruptions from other activities on-site. The Pasfield House can be yours for the day or even the entire celebration weekend.
